McLennan Insulation Limited is the largest commercial and industrial insulation contractor in the Wellington Region. We have been associated with most of the large developments in the region, a few of which are listed below.

Wellington Regional Hospital

By far the largest building services insulation contract ever undertaken in the Wellington region.

Our staff were on site for two years installing insulation to the mechanical and plumbing services. We also installed many kilometres of acoustic insulation to waste water pipes within the building.

This challenging project was completed in November 2008.

Vogel Integrated Campus

This large project is well underway and due to be completed in 2009. McLennan Insulation Limited is the insulation contractor for mechanical services.

Dept of Conservation – Mid City

This building is regarded as the first five star green building in New Zealand. McLennan Insulation Limited was the insulation contractor for the mechanical and plumbing services.

New Freyberg Building

Headquarters for the NZ Defence Department in Mulgrave Street. We were the mechanical insulation contractor. Work was completed in 2007.

Wellywood

We have been the insulation contractor on a number of projects associated with Peter Jackson – Park Road Post Production Unit (pictured), Southdown Studio and Weta Digital, Wexford Road.

Wellington International Airport

McLennan Insulation Limited was the insulation contractor for mechanical and plumbing services at the new state of the art international airport terminal.

Westfield Queensgate Shopping Centre

The refurbishment and extension of Lower Hutt’s shopping mall. McLennan Insulation Limited was the insulation contractor for mechanical and plumbing services.

Te Papa Museum of New Zealand

Te Papa was completed in 1998, a major project for all involved. We insulated all the mechanical services on this contract as well as installing acoustic linings to gallery ceilings and to riser shafts.
